The quick and agile chipmunk is a small, borwnish, ground-dwelling squirrel typically 5 to 6 inches long. According to Native American folklore, it got is stripes when escaping from a bear whose long sharp claws left long pale scars on the little chipmunk's back.

This traditional and beautiful glass ornament was carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold. Then a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, it was delicately hand-painted and glittered for you to enjoy and cherish as a holiday heirloom!
